Inspiration for the Crane card:
When Lovepop designer Kathie was growing up, she often looked at port cranes near the water and thought of them as metal giraffes. Before realizing that this was a piece of machinery, Kathie thought of the cranes more as pieces of art or water park attractions.
Well, the cranes in her childhood may not have been art, but this pop up sure is.
The team also wanted to add more Construction Site cards in addition to our Excavator and Construction Bear pop up cards. The Crane card was a natural and easy extension to the others and, to be honest, we love our machinery here at Lovepop, especially our laser cutter.
