A cheerful bluebird is perched on a pink flowering branch on the front of this bright turquoise card. Inside, our feathered friend pops to life with rusty coral and white breast and intricate laser-cut wings. The setting of our Bluebird card echoes its front, holding court against sprawling cherry blossom branches with perky pink petals.
Inspiration for the Bluebird Pop up Card:
Our designer Jason turned to the National Audubon Society and The Sibley Guide to Birds while researching our Bluebird card. He debated between Eastern and Western bluebirds, ultimately deciding on the iconic fluffy-chested birds from the east. A West Coast native, Jason doesn’t have much IRL experience with these sweet little birds, but he hopes someday to see ones resembling the card in his new home in Boston.
